The Ministry of Health and Population has postponed the issuance of immunization certificate with QR code for the time being. The people who have submitted their applications in Kirtipur have informed that the process of taking additional applications has been postponed till the issuance of the certificate with QR code.   However, the online form can be filled by going to the link vaccine.mohp.gob.np/public-request from. The Ministry of Health has stated that you can go to the link vaccine.mohp.gob.np/search to know whether your certificate is ready or not.  People who are going to the country where the certificate with QR code is mandatory are also requested to get the ticket only after getting the certificate with QR code.


A writ has been filed in the Supreme Court saying that sanitary pads should be removed from the scope of 'luxury' items and kept in basic health facilities.

Sarina Nepal of Ilam and Abhuday Bhetwal of Bhaktapur have filed writ petitions against the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Women and Children, Ministry of Law, and Ministry of Health and Population.

As 54 percent of the country's population uses sanitary pads for one week a month and every month for about 38 years, they have demanded the removal of 13 percent value-added tax and customs duty.
