The death rate in Bagmati was 1.17 percent while in Karnali it was 2.06 percent. According to the Ministry of Health, Karnali is the only state with a death rate of more than 2 percent.

According to the statistics of the Ministry of Health on July 16:
So far, samples of 2.215 million people have been tested in Bagmati. Of these, 373,649 people were confirmed infected. Of those infected, 351,386 have been cured. A total of 4,400 people have died in Bagmati province.
In Bagmati, the death rate of covid 19 is 1.17 percent.
So far, samples of 435,960 people have been tested in State-1. Out of which, the infection has been confirmed in 93,192 people. Of those infected, 1,400 have been cured and 1,460 have died.
The death rate of covid 19 in State 1 is 1.56 percent.
A total of 383,795 samples have been tested in Lumbini. Of these, 92,810 have been confirmed infected. Of those infected, 87,929 have been cured and 1,640 have died.
In Lumbini, the death rate of covid 19 was 1.76 percent.
A sample of 242,245 people has been tested in Gandaki. Of these, 69,056 have been confirmed infected. Of those infected, 60,363 have been cleared of infections and 1,154 have lost their lives.
In Gandaki, the death rate of covid 19 is 1.67 percent.
A total of 184,091 samples have been tested in the far- western states so far. Out of which, the infection has been confirmed in 37,318 people. Of those infected, 35,622 have been cured and 451 have died.
In the far-western states, the mortality rate of covid 19 is 1.20 percent.
A sample of 171,258 people has been tested in Province 2 . Of these, the infection has been confirmed in 45,280 people. Of those infected, 42,950 have recovered and 753 have died.
In Province 2, the mortality rate of covid 19 was 1.66 percent.
In Karnali, a sample of 124,290 people has been tested and the infection has been confirmed in 20,967 people. Of those infected, 19,032 have been cured and 434 have died.
The death rate of covid 19 in Karnali is 2.06 percent.
