Kathmandu: More than 4.5 million people in Nepal have so far received the first dose of the Covid 19 vaccine. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 4,570,553 people have been vaccinated against the three types of vaccines Covisild, Verosel, and Johnson & Johnson in Nepal.

Similarly, 2,888,360 people have been vaccinated with the second dose of the vaccine. In the last 24 hours, 195,211 people across the country have been vaccinated against Covid 19.

The ministry said that so far 9.51 percent of the total population has been fully vaccinated and 13.28 percent have received the first dose.

The government has set a target of vaccinating 72 percent of the total population, or 21.7 million 56 thousand 763 people. So far, 21.1 percent have received the first dose and 13.28 percent have received the second dose.

In the last 24 hours, 69,037 people have been vaccinated with the second dose of the cov-shield vaccine, 28,871 people have been vaccinated with the first dose of the Vero cell vaccine, 69,111 people have been vaccinated with the second dose and 28,192 people have been vaccinated against Johnson & Johnson.

At the same time, the total number of people receiving the second dose of cold vaccine has reached 597,819, according to the ministry. The number of the first doses and second dose vaccines has reached 2.7 million 2 thousand 128 and 1 million 83 thousand 403 respectively. So far, 1,27,138 people have been vaccinated against Johnson & Johnson.
