CPN-UML senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal has said that the party will be united if Chairman KP Sharma Oli admits the mistakes made so far and criticizes himself.
Speaking at a meeting of his party's central committee members in the capital on Thursday, Nepal said the party would not be united if Oli Sachin was not ready.
"We have come a long way. If Oli corrects the mistake, there will be unity or not, 'said Central Member Metmani Chaudhary, quoting what Nepal said in the Central Committee meeting.
He said that they wanted unity and efforts were being made for that. Nepal also said that the proposal to reach an agreement between the two presidents was made by Oli first and not later.
A standing committee meeting was held before the central committee meeting of the Nepali side. Standing committee member Raghuji Pant informed that party unity was also discussed in the meeting.
The Central Committee meeting of the Nepali side will be held again tomorrow at 11:30 am.
