Lumbini MP Wali returned to the UML

Butwal. Lumbini MP Bimala Kumari Khatri Wali has said that she has returned to the CPN-UML.

In a statement issued on Monday, she said that she had returned to the UML saying that she had won the election by contesting from the Sun sign.

Elected as a state assembly member from the then CPN (Maoist), she chose the UCPN (M) center after the UML and UCPN (M) revived.

"I have won the election from the Sun symbol and now that the Sun symbol belongs to the UML, it is not legally right to leave the UML and elect the Maoists," he said. I urge everyone not to get confused as I attended the meeting of the CPN-UML parliamentary party after the party split and also participated in the meeting as a member of the party as a Dang district committee.

After the death of Uttar Kumar Wali, elected from Dang Constituency No. 3B, his wife Vimala had won the by-election. After his return to the CPN-UML, the number of CPN-UML MPs in the 80-member state assembly has reached 39.

There are 19 members of the Nepali Congress, 19 members of the Maoist Center (including the Speaker), three members of the Janata Samajwadi Party and one member of the Rastriya Janamorcha in the state assembly. After Vimala's return to the UML, the opposition alliance does not seem to have a majority in the state assembly to form a government.
