Corona at high-risk Jhapa, CCMC team monitoring


Jhapa: In Jhapa, at least one hundred and fifty to three hundred and fifty corona infected people are being added daily. The death toll from the district infection has also exceeded 500.

A meeting of the district-level Covid-19 Crisis Management Center (DCMC) has imposed a restraining order till July 13 to reduce the infection rate and death rate in Jhapa.

The district has not been able to reduce the infection rate and death rate due to non-compliance with the ban. A team of Covid-19 Crisis Management Center CCMC had arrived in Jhapa on Friday after the infection and death rate in the district did not decrease.

According to Jhapa Chief District Officer Shrawan Kumar Timilsina, a team of CCMC at the District Administration Office, Jhapa discussed the prevention and control of corona infection with the DCMC representatives in the district.

Former Rathi Balananda Sharma, Chief of Kovid-19 Crisis Management Center CCMC, Bhagwan Koirala, Chief of Nepal Medical Council, Ananta Karki, Chief of Army Staff, AIG Pushparaj KC of Armed Police Force, Brigadier General Laxman Thapa, Dr. Teams including Prakash Budhathoki had come.

The team, including former chief Rathi Sharma, had suggested the DCMC representatives work hard for the prevention of infection in the district. "As Jhapa district is at high risk of corona infection, discussions were held with the CCMC team on how to prevent and control it," said Timilsina. '

"The CCMC team suggested sending a recommendation with the decision of the DCMC if the airport and highway had to be closed to prevent the transition rate," said Timilsina.

"They also informed that the government is now preparing for smart lockdown," he said. "They also discussed how to install smart lockdown, how to control those entering Nepal through border checkpoints, treatment, and vaccination status."

Also, Lokraj Dhakal, President of Jhapa Branch of Red Cross Society, and Dr. Tanka Prasad Baharkoti of Mechi Hospital informed about covid treatment and vaccine management in the district.

After the discussion, the team, including former CCMC chief Rathi Sharma, monitored the construction of a 1,000-capacity holding center at Kakadvitta, Jamirgadhi. After the construction of the holding center, the issue of who will be responsible for its operation and management was raised. Amar Jung Thapa, chief fighter of the new Srinath Gana Charali, informed them about this. The CCMC team has returned to Kathmandu this afternoon.
