Kathmandu. The Ministry of Physical Infrastructure of the Bagmati state government has started online service from Friday. Named the Transport Management Information System (TMIS), the technology has made it possible to pay revenue and fines and renew bluebooks.

The state government has also launched a separate web portal to avail of this service. It is said that the service can be availed from the citizen app. When this service is implemented, it is expected that the suffering of the service recipients in the transport office of the capital will end.

For this, there is a feature called 'Vehicle Tax' in the citizen app. There is a facility to view the details of your vehicle, edit it, view the tax details paid, and know the remaining revenue and fines to be paid.

But the option of paying revenue online is not seen in the app. Of course, it is natural for you to be curious about when the feature of paying traffic revenue and renewing the blue book will come from the citizen app.

However, this facility was expected to be available in the citizen app along with TMS launched by the Bagmati state government. But due to lack of technical preparation, this facility will be added to the citizen app only after a few days delay.

A source close to the National Information Technology Center has informed that testing is underway for this. In the next few days (until Sunday) this feature will also come in the citizen app.

At the same time, the facility available on TMIS's web portal can be availed directly from the citizen app. The government has a plan to expand this facility from Bagmati to other states. Probably at this stage, this kind of facility will be started in Lumbini province.
