Kathmandu. Sunday marks the year that Nirmala Pant was murdered after being raped. The reality of the Nirmala murder case has not been ascertained yet. Despite various investigations into the national and internationally acclaimed Nirmala murder, the incident has remained a mystery as the police have not been able to find and arrest the killer so far.
Spokesperson of the District Police Office, Kanchanpur, Deputy Superintendent of Police Siddharaj Neupane said that Nirmala's killer has not been identified yet. "We are still investigating," he said. He said that the investigation could not reach a conclusion due to a lack of irrefutable evidence and eyewitnesses. He said that they are continuously investigating to find the killer and the culprit will be found.
