A landslide in Kushma Municipality Ward No. 8 Chuwa of Parbat has swept away three people including a vehicle. Three persons have gone missing after their vehicle was swept away in the middle of the night due to floods caused by incessant rains. The Mid-Hill Highway has been blocked due to the landslide.
The Dobilla Falebas road has also been blocked due to the landslide. According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Shivaraj Budhathoki, it has been confirmed that two employees working on the Mid-Hill Highway have been arrested. The deceased have been identified as side engineer Rajaram Acharya and driver Indra Tharu said Budathoki.
Police said that another person was in the vehicle as his body was swept away by the river during the night. Police have confirmed that there were three passengers in the vehicle. The search for the missing has been going on since midnight but no trace of him has been found so far, police said.
The vehicle washed away by the landslide was found in the Modi River. Deputy Inspector Budhathoki said that the search was still on. Police said that a search for the missing persons was underway.

One person has been swept away by floods and landslides in Tarakhola due to continuous rains. Rajendra Karki, 18, of Hill Ghusmeli in Tarakhola Gaonpalika Ward No. 3 of the district has lost contact with the landslide on Tuesday night due to floods and landslides.

Around 25 families in the market area have been shifted to safer places overnight. An additional police team led by the Inspector of Police is reaching the spot from Galkot Area Police Office for rescue.
