The task force members said that there is no unity without Madhav Nepal

Kathmandu. Leaders of people's organizations close to CPN-UML senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal have said that the party will not be united by enduring insults. During a meeting with the leaders of the Nepali side in the task force that reached a ten-point agreement for unity in the party, the leaders of the Jana Sangathan said that the statement of party president KP Sharma Oli was insulting.

Discussions were held at a hotel in Baneshwor between the members of the Nepal task force and the leaders of the people's organizations. During the discussion, the leaders of Jana Sangathan said that they could not support the party unity without Madhav Nepal. 'KP Oli seems to be trying to unite in an insulting manner. We said such unity is not possible ', said Naresh Shahi, president of the youth association.

According to him, most of the leaders of the people's organizations had said that Chairman Oli did not want party unity, but threw away the unity card only because he was embarrassed. "We have said that there will be no unity as long as the allegations made by Bardali of Balkot and the amnesty given by the leaders of his party are maintained," he said.

Some participants, however, were skeptical of the task force leaders. "What happened to the leaders in the task force? According to Parajuli, suspicions have arisen as the task force members on Oli's side are publicly saying that UML is without Madhav Nepal. "Whenever KP Oli is in crisis, they throw the unity card, so leaders should be aware of this," he said.

Leaders of the people's organization had said that reviving the youth force after the ten-point agreement and taking action against leader Madhav Nepal would also prove that Chairman Oli is not sincere towards unity.

However, the leaders of the task force urged them to stand for unity and not to engage in provocative activities. "Once the party is united, there will be no such force as Youth Force, Akhil Force, rest assured," said Bhim Rawal, Nepal's coordinator in the task force.

All Force and People's Volunteers (PV) have been revived in Nepal after the youths formed a youth force near Oli. Leaders of Akhil and Yuva Sangha near Nepal have taken a stand that the Oli faction will not stop the activities of Akhil Force and PV as long as the Youth Force is maintained.

Rawal, who is also the party's vice-president, has urged not to take any action that would hamper the unity process. "We have to make sincere efforts for unity. There is anger on both sides now, it will take time to calm down ', Rawal urged.

Taskforce member and party deputy general secretary Ghanshyam Bhusal said that the unity of the UML was important due to the geopolitical situation of Nepal and the development of the society. "We, who stood up to protect the constitution and the parliament, must now protect the UML," Bhusal urged.

He said that foreign forces, the Nepali Congress, and the UCPN (Maoist) were also involved in splitting the UML. Ghanshyam Bhusal was trying to remind more philosophically. But the essence was to stand for unity ', said another participant.

Another member of the task force, Surendra Pandey, also said that the UML should be united to save the communist movement. He said that after the implementation of the ten-point agreement, the tenth meeting of the Central Committee will be held again. 'It was fourteenth. Putting Asti Dashain, it doesn't even make sense. Now the tenth meeting will be held with us again ', Pandey said.

Gokarna Bista, a member of the task force and party secretary, said that the party split was not appropriate and should not be moved towards that. "When the party split into 2054 BS, there was the only damage. We have to think about that. It is the responsibility of the current leadership to move towards uniting the UML, ”he said.

Another member of the task force, Raghuji Pant, has also tried to assure the leaders of the people's organizations that there will be respectable unity. Pant had informed that efforts were being made for that. Leaders of the Oli faction have said that the statement of UML leaders without Madhav Nepal is meaningless. 'We can't go without Madhav Nepal! "It's up to the leaders to decide who will speak was," said one participant.

Task Force Coordinator and Vice-Chairman Rawal said that UML would be divided even if Madhav Nepal was left alone in the unity process. "Even if Madhav Nepal lives alone, a party will be formed there. We are not the only leaders of the standing committee, ”Rawal said.
