A meeting of the District Covid-19 Crisis Management Center (DCCMC) on Thursday decided to extend the ban for another week, said Chief District Officer Chhavilal Rijal. "Lately, the rate of corona infection in the district has been stable. The risk is still high.

According to Prajia Rijal, examinations at all levels can be conducted in the district by fully complying with the health standards related to COVID-19.

However, public health experts say that the risk of the corona epidemic remains high. In this case, the risk of corona may increase even more when conducting the test.

The shops that used to be open from 6 am to 2 pm every day except Saturday will now be open from 6 am to 6 pm. Banks and financial institutions and government offices will also be allowed to open during the ban period.

Similarly, food shops, construction materials, hardware, electronics, utensils shops, book shops, fancy shops, and workshops can also be operated, the administration said.

The administration has stated that hotels, restaurants, and snack shops will be opened with full compliance with health standards so as not to exceed 50 percent of the total capacity. Salons, beauty parlors, gyms, and libraries will be completely closed.

Hundreds of people commute daily to Birendranagar, which is also the state capital. The administration is saying that more than 25 people cannot participate in the program. However, such activities are being carried out daily by the government in the big hotels of Birendranagar.

No health standards have been adopted in the market as per the directives of the administration. According to the hospital, the number of corona patients in the state hospital has started declining again.

A restraining order has been issued in Surkhet on April 30.
