Nepal Oil Corporation has again increased the price of fuel. Less than two weeks after the price hike, the corporation raised fuel prices again on Tuesday.

The corporation had fixed the price of petrol at Rs 127 per litre with effect from 12 noon on July 25. Again, the price of petrol has been increased by Rs 2 per litre to Rs 129. The price of diesel/kerosene has now gone up by Rs 2 per litre to Rs 112.

The price of aviation fuel has been increased by Rs 2 per litre domestically to Rs 84 and the price of aviation fuel (international) has been increased by अमेरिकी 19 per kiloliter to ७ 745.

The price of cooking gas has been increased by Rs 25 per cylinder to Rs 1,425.

Last year, the corporation had saved oil by keeping high profits in the lockdown. The corporation, which did not reduce the price of crude oil in the international market, has been continuously increasing the price showing the reason for the loss.

The corporation had increased the selling price of petrol, diesel/kerosene and aviation fuel (internal) by Rs 2 per litre on May 7. The corporation said prices could rise further in the future.
