The government is raising more than Rs 5 billion in revenue daily

Less than a week to the end of the fiscal year. Meanwhile, the government's revenue has been rising. According to the Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General, the revenue of more than Rs 5 billion has started rising daily. Only yesterday, Rs 5.69 billion was added to the government's coffers. The government's treasury has received revenue of Rs. 58.30 billion in the last 24 days. As mid-July is the last time to pay taxes in the current fiscal year, a lot of revenue has been collected this month. Revenue had risen to Rs 51.33 billion last May. Revenue of Rs. 717.59 billion had been collected till July 8 last year.

According to the Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General, the revenue rose by Rs 67 billion in the first 24 days of July this year. On this basis, it is seen that the revenue has increased more than the same period last year.

The government has collected revenue of Rs. 871.70 billion in the current fiscal year. This is 86.16 percent of the target. This is tax and non-tax income. The government had set a target of raising Rs 10.11 trillion in revenue this year through the budget.
