Expressing dissatisfaction over the distribution of active membership, Nepali Congress MP Amaresh Kumar Singh, who resigned from the post of Member of the House of Representatives, has been demanded to take action by the people's representatives and leaders of his district. They have announced that they will resign from the post if action is not taken against Amaresh.

Amaresh had submitted his resignation to party president Deuba on Wednesday alleging fraud in the distribution of active party members.

Twelve people, including a Congress MP from the state, sent a letter to party president Sher Bahadur Deuba on Thursday evening demanding action against him saying that the leader/activist of Sarlahi Constituency No. 4 has been terrorized by the dictatorial tendencies of MP Singh.

Birendra Prasad Singh, Member of the Provincial Assembly and Minister for Women, Children, Youth, and Sports of Province 2, informed that the party has demanded to take action as per the party's rules and regulations. "We will resign from our post if Singh, who is involved in anti-party activities and weakening the party organization, is not dealt with as per the party constitution," he wrote in a letter to the party president.

Allegations leveled against Amaresh

Minister Singh, State Assembly Member Upendra Prasad Kushwaha, Regional President Ram Ashray Sah, Basbaria Village President Ram Ayodhya Yadav, Ramnagar Village President Nitu Kumari Yadav, Regional President Harendra Sahani, Ashok Kumar Singh, Bal Kishore Singh, Upendra Mahato, Lalbabu Mahato, Baijnath A joint letter sent by Prasad Singh and Ram Ekwal Sah has leveled various allegations against Amer Kumar Singh.

He said that Amaresh Singh's anti-party activities and behavior have created a worrying situation in the district and the region.

Similarly, the letter states that the party has always tried to move ahead by trampling on the party's rules, regulations, methods, and organization decisions, not participating in the party's programs, and threatening to sue the elected municipalities if they do not act in their favor.

Time and time again, he has misappropriated the funds of his parliamentary fund to discredit the party. It has been mentioned in the letter that various tricks and dictatorial tendencies have been adopted to trample on the decisions made.

Membership of 13 family members, but fasting in Sanepa

Meanwhile, MP Amaresh Kumar Singh has also accused a person who had given active membership to 13 members of his own family to go on a hunger strike at the party office in Sanepa without any reason.

The ward chairperson has drawn the attention of the party president and prime minister Deuba saying that Ram Gobind Roy of Basbariya Gaonpalika 1 (formerly Manpur VDC) under Constituency No. 4 of Sarlahi has gone on hunger strike without any reason even after giving active membership to 13 members of his family.

It is said in the letter that Amaresh Singh went on a hunger strike without any reason to discredit the party and cover up the general convention.
