The body of a young woman who had been missing for a month was found from Mahottari

The body of a young woman who has been missing for a month has been found buried in Mahottari. Sujita Thakur, 26, of Bhramarpura in Loharpatti Municipality-7 has been missing since June 4.

His body was found buried with his hands tied near a petrol pump near his house, said DIG Umesh Ranjitkar.

"Sujita's body was found during excavations at the site based on special information," he said, "but DNA testing of the body remains to be done." After the body was found, further investigation was started, said DIG Ranjitkar.

Police had earlier arrested her husband Mukesh and brother-in-law Rupesh on July 29 on suspicion of murdering Sujita.
