During the study, the researchers based their estimates on the annual mortality rates in seven different states, which make up half of India's population. He also analyzed the international rates of age-related infectious deaths, the number of deaths from the virus, as well as data from a nationwide antibody test, the CERO Survey, and the Consumer Survey of India.
