The 32nd Summer Olympics officially opened today

Kathmandu. The Olympic Games, considered the Aquarius Fair of the World Games, is officially starting today in Tokyo, Japan.

Although some of the Olympic Games started two days ago, the official opening ceremony will be held today. The opening ceremony of the Olympics will start at 2:15 pm Nepali time.

Swimmer Gaurika Singh will carry the national flag of Nepal at the inauguration ceremony. Alexander Shah of Swimming, Saraswati Chaudhary of Athletics, Kalpana Pariyar of Shooting, and Sonia Bhatt of Judo are competing from Nepal.

The inauguration ceremony is expected to be attended by the heads of 15 nations and organizations. More than 11,200 athletes from 204 countries and regions have arrived in Tokyo to participate in the Olympics. High vigilance has been adopted to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection in the competition, officials said.

The 32nd edition of the Summer Olympics, which did not take place last year due to the Corona epidemic, has been named 'Tokyo Olympics 2020'. The Olympics, which begin on July 23, end on August 8.

Due to the risk of infection, the Olympic Organizing Committee and the IOC have already decided to conduct the Games without spectators.
