Smart lockdown now!

Kathmandu: The government is preparing for a smart lockdown. The Covid-19 Crisis Management Center (CCMC) has proposed a smart lockdown at its board of directors meeting on Friday. A meeting of the Board of Directors was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba.

"Where there is a high incidence of infection, the CCMC has proposed a concept that can be stopped by the district or local level concerned," said CCMC spokesperson Nur Hari Khatiwada. He clarified that the concept of lockdown in a scientific and practical way is a smart lockdown.

Although the lockdown that has been going on till now has been done through the district administration office, it has been under the control of the center. In the upcoming lockdown, the district can decide on its own. According to the concept of smart lockdown, where the corona infection increases, there is a lockdown, where it decreases, it becomes open.
