The ruling CPN (UML) has taken to the streets against the opposition alliance. UML-affiliated Nepal Sports Federation and Youth Association of Nepal staged a protest in the capital on Sunday against the opposition alliance.
The Nepal Sports Federation led by Ramesh Poudel had staged a demonstration at the Dasharath Stadium premises in Tripureshwor. Participants in the demonstration carried postcards with pictures of the Prime Minister and UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli, with slogans such as' Players are waking up, traitors are fleeing ',' Players' call, elections on time '.
Similarly, Youth Association Nepal has staged demonstrations from Bijuli Bazaar to Maitighar Mandal.
