Police mistreated by Parsh Shah in Maharajgunj

Kathmandu. Former King Parsh Shah has mistreated the police on duty. He was mistreated by the traffic police at Narayan Gopal Chowk in Maharajgunj on Friday evening.

According to Kathmandu Police Chief SSP Ashok Singh, Shah, who was not wearing a helmet, was stopped by the traffic police. He said that he was also under the influence of alcohol.

There was a scuffle when the police tried to take Shah under control, as can be seen in a recent public video on social media. When the police tried to take him to the police station, he had an argument with the police saying, "I know, I live here." During that time, there was a traffic jam in the chowk.

It is heard that the traffic police has called for more help from the police control through the communication set as they did not see any situation to reduce the tension. A traffic policeman said on the set, "Paras Shah is drinking a lot and is making a fuss. Send the vehicle immediately."

Some people had expressed their indignation towards the police, saying that the police would have already taken them in a vehicle if it was the general public. At times, even Shah's supporters chanted slogans in his favor.

"After explaining, we sent him to wear a helmet," SSP Singh told online news.

Repeatedly in dispute

Former King Shah has repeatedly come to the fore by carrying out unruly activities.

He had fled from Jawalakhel on June 11, 2075, in a vehicle (Ba 14 Cha 2131) violating traffic rules. Police had stopped his vehicle at Thapathali. But in anger, he hit a female police officer working in Thapathali.

Coincidentally, she was saved. She was the same young policeman who had taken the license of Paras and cheated the fine.

In 2071, he was arrested in Thailand with marijuana. He was arrested four times for drugs and was in Nepal last time. He was especially seen in Pokhara.

Two years ago, a video of him pushing a policeman at the Tribhuvan International Airport went viral.

At one point in Chitwan, he also shot at Rubel Chaudhary. Singer Pravin Gurung was killed when he was hit by a vehicle driven by Paras on July 7, 2057, at Durbar Marg. Gurung was hit by a motorcycle and his vehicle went straight into Nirmal Niwas.

The court later rescued him by setting up a fake driver. But his arrogance remains the same long after the monarchy was overthrown.
