One was arrested from Tribhuvan Airport with one kg of gold


Kathmandu. Police have arrested a man with more than a kilogram of gold from Tribhuvan Airport. Police on Tuesday arrested Padam Pariyar of Gorkha, who came from Dubai on a Himalayan Airlines flight.

During the customs check on the way to the airport, an X-ray revealed that he had brought 1165 grams of gold in an iron object.

The arrested persons have been handed over to the Tribhuvan Airport Customs Office for further investigation and action.
