KATHMANDU: Australia has won the one-day cricket series against the West Indies. Australia beat the West Indies by six wickets in the third and final ODI at Bridgetown to win the series 2-1.

Australia reached the target of 153 runs set by the West Indies by losing 4 wickets in 30 overs. Australia's Matthew Wade played an unbeaten 51-run half-century. Batting first, West Indies were bowled out for 152 in 41 overs with five balls to spare. For him, Ivan Lewis added an unbeaten 55 runs but others could not play well.

Australia's Mitchell Starc took three wickets and Jose Hazlewood, Aston Agar, and Adam Jampa took two wickets each. In the second ODI, West Indies defeated Australia by 4 wickets. In the first match, Australia defeated West Indies by 133 runs using the Duckworth-Lewis method.

After the match against West Indies, Australia is going to Bangladesh to play a five-match T20 series.
