Nepali citizens fell into the Mahakali River when SSB pulled out Tuin's rope


Dhangadhi. A Nepali has gone missing after falling into the Mahakali River when the Indian Border Security Force (BSF) pulled out an iron rope from Tuin without crossing the river.

Jaisingh Dhami, 30, went missing after falling into the Mahakali River while crossing the river from Tuin at Malghat in Beas Gaonpalika-2 of Darchula on Friday morning. According to eyewitnesses, the SSB had pulled out an iron rope before reaching the Dhami River crossing the Mahakali River from Tuin.

"Three persons who had gone with Dhami have crossed the river," said Birendra Singh Burdhathoki, Ward Chairman of Beas Gaonpalika-2.

Inspector at the District Police Office, Narendra Chand, said that a complaint was received that the SABC had fallen into the Dhami River after removing the rope. "We have also received complaints that the SSB fell into the Dhami River when the rope was pulled out," said Inspector Chand. "We are trying to contact eyewitnesses."

Dhami's family has submitted a memorandum to the District Administration Office, Darchula, demanding an investigation into the involvement of the Indian SBC in the incident.

The administration sent a letter to India

Meanwhile, the District Administration Office, Darchula, has sent a letter to the Indian side requesting investigation and assistance.

Darchula Assistant Chief District Officer Jyotsana Bhatta said that a letter has been sent to the Pithoragarh DM's office. "It has been reported that Dhami was swept away by the water when the SSB tried to untie the rope on the way to India," Bhatta said. We have written to the Pithoragarh DM's office to investigate the incident. We have also requested to take action by informing the facts about the incident.

Bhatta said that no response has been received from the Indian side so far. The local administration has stated that they are searching for Dhami who went missing after falling from a turret.
