Nabil surpassed Telecom in market capitalization

Nabil Bank has risen to first place in market capitalization, surpassing Nepal Telecom. On the last trading day of the year, Nabil Bank has become number one in terms of capitalization after the improvement in its share price.

The bank's market capitalization stood at Rs 196.67 billion after Thursday's trading. The bank, which has 134.81 million 584 shares listed, has a share price of Rs 1,459 per share.

The share price of Nabil Bank had risen by Rs 5 on Thursday while the share price of Nepal Telecom, which is number one in the market capitalization, had dropped by Rs 6 per share.

Nepal Telecom, which dropped to the second position with 150 million shares listed, has a share price of Rs 1,296 per share. Its market capitalization is Rs 194.40 billion. Nabil has a market capitalization of Rs 2.27 billion more than that of Telecom.
