Kathmandu. The Ministry of Health and Population has directed the local level to prepare land management and detailed project report (DPR) for the construction of the basic hospital.
Head of the Policy Planning Monitoring Division of the Ministry, Dr. Gunaraj Lohani said in a statement on Tuesday, "We call for the confirmation of the land required for the construction of the basic hospital and the preparation of the DPR and sending it to the Ministry of Health and Population as soon as possible."
The ministry has also stated that the budget will be allocated only to the local level after preparing the DPR.
Earlier, the then Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli had started 396 construction processes but no agreement has been reached. Similarly, the remaining 259 local levels have not even prepared land assurance and DPR.
