Midwestern University has sacked Vishwanath Yadav, director and associate professor of the post-graduate program in engineering, with the conclusion that the students who did not appear in the examination due to financial temptation passed the examination by giving arbitrary marks.

After the committee formed to investigate the irregularities in the examination found Yadav guilty, the Vice-Chancellor Pvt. Dr Nanda Bahadur Singh informed. Vice-Chancellor Singh told online news, "I have been dismissed from the service for committing an unforgivable educational crime."

There was a complaint from the students that Yadav had deliberately given the number by hiding the number sent by the subject teacher towards the internal evaluation of the student. A three-member committee was formed under the leadership of Deep Bahadur Rawal to investigate the matter. The committee had ruled that it was an unforgivable crime and recommended departmental action. "It has been decided to dismiss him by forming an investigation committee and giving him a chance to clean up," said VC Singh.

Midwestern University teaches construction management and structural engineering. The investigation committee has found that the final examination of the structural engineering subject was given an arbitrary number. The experimental test is 40 marks. In that exam, 13 students were given 40 out of 40 marks. Similarly, students in all four subjects of Structural Engineering have been given equal marks at the rate of 34 to 37 marks.

According to VC Singh, the action was taken against him for admitting wrongdoing in the examination. He said, 'I made a mistake, I am sorry, but I can not forgive. I have sworn to improve the university, I will continue to improve. '

VC Pvt. Dr Singh also gave a press conference on the issue today.
