Kathmandu: A meeting of the Central Executive Committee of the Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Upendra Yadav has started at the party office in Balkumari on Saturday.
Apart from this, the ongoing official dispute in the Election Commission and the case filed by Mahanta Thakur in the Supreme Court will also be discussed in the meeting.
With the formation of the new government, the official dispute between Upendra Yadav and Mahanta Thakur's group has been escalating. The Election Commission has ordered the 51-member Central Executive Committee to be present on July 25 to resolve the dispute. However, Thakur has filed a writ petition against the order.
