Italy beat England 3-2 in a penalty shootout to win the Euro 2020 title.

The title match ended in a 1-1 draw at Wembley Stadium in London on Monday morning.

In the penalty shootout, Italian goalkeeper Donnarumma thwarted two of England's shots. One of England's strikes was on the post.

Italy's Bellotti's shot in the penalty shootout was blocked by English goalkeeper Pickford.

Similarly, Radford of England hit the post. Soon after, England's Jadon Sancho's shot was thwarted by Italian goalkeeper Donnarumma.

Jorginho's shot from Italy's fifth penalty was also thwarted by the English goalkeeper.

Bukayo Saka's fifth penalty for England was blocked by goalkeeper Donnarumma to give Italy the lead.

Belardi, Bonucci, and Bernardichi scored for Italy in a penalty shootout. Only England's Harry Kane and Harry Maguire won on penalties.

For the first time since 1976 in the Euro Cup, the title ended in a penalty shootout.
