Extensive violation of health standards in Ilam, corona infection began to increase

Ilam. After the number of actively infected people exceeded 500, the local administration issued a restraining order in Ilam. However, now that the ban has been gradually relaxed, the rate of corona transmission has been steadily rising. With the increase in human activity in the market, infection is also increasing.

Two days in the first week of July, more than 100 infected people were added on the same day and the death rate is also increasing. This shows that the infection in Ilam is getting worse again. After the ban was lifted, the health standards were not observed. As a result, the number of infected people in the district, which has more than 500 active infections, is rising instead of decreasing, says Bimal Baral, a co-focal person in Ilam.

The number of actively infected people in the district has reached 781 with the addition of Karona infected on a daily basis. As the number of corona infections increases, so does the patient pressure at Ilam Hospital. The manager of Ilam Hospital Kshitij Khatiwada says that there is a possibility of a lack of kits as the number of corona testers is also increasing.

Health standards are being violated from shopping in the market to government office services and even in places like hospitals. Even if the criteria for wearing a mask are followed, other criteria are not found to be followed. There have been calls for a one-week ban on chain-breaking, saying that coronation would be even more frightening if the standards were not followed.
