The state of New South Wales added 38 new infections on Thursday. At the same time, the number of people infected with the Delta variant has reached 370.
New South Wales officials say the infection is on the rise due to people visiting the house. The concerned bodies have urged the people to follow the standards strictly.
"In order for this lockdown to work, we must all stop our activities," said New South Wales Premier Gladys Brazilian. New South Wales added the newest infections in 14 months on Thursday.
Premier Berezkillian has urged people to stop visiting people outside their families at home. He also said that the spread of the infection was due to people walking in the community with symptoms of the corona.
