Kathmandu. Within a month, all government offices will have to be fully automated. A meeting at the secretary-level was held on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary to the Government of Nepal Shankar Das Bairagi. During the meeting, the Chief Secretary instructed all the secretaries to use government email.
Similarly, he has instructed all the secretaries to implement office automation in the bodies inside Singha Durbar by mid-July and outside bodies and offices within a month. In addition, the implementation status of the Digital Nepal Framework and security sensitivities of government data and databases were also discussed.
During the review, discussions have also been held on making the system related to the Singha Durbar entrance more systematic. It was also mentioned in the meeting that the milestones set by various ministries and agencies in the last fiscal year and the ministerial progress status of the activities were also discussed in the meeting.
