Chitwan: The District Administration Office has extended the curfew in the district for one week as there is still a risk of infection of Covid-19 with new variants and delta variants are also seen in the patients.

According to the order issued by Chief District Officer Premlal Lamichhane, the injunction has been extended from 12 noon today to 12 noon on July 30.

The ban was imposed in the district from 12 noon on April 29 due to the high incidence of coronavirus. On the recommendation of the District Covid-19 Crisis Management Center (DCCMC), the Chief District Officer issued an order today and added a restraining order in the district.

It has been asked to prepare criteria for the operation of public transport in the district during the ban and to follow the rules implemented during the previous ban.

It has been stated in the order that the vehicles operating on the local route should be driven with forced numbers, passengers should be kept only according to the seating capacity and the vehicles should be disinfected daily.

Campaign examinations and entrance examinations must meet full health standards, no more than 25 candidates should be allowed in a room, only one student should be placed on a bench, physical distance should be maintained, and covid infected students should be allowed to participate in the examination only 30 minutes after the examination begins. It has been ordered to allow the examinees to leave the room only after 30 minutes.
