80 million IPOs of 20 companies to be opened this year

IPOs of five more life insurance companies will also go public this fiscal year.

Kathmandu. IPO sale of 20 companies will be opened in the fiscal year 2078/79. Five companies have already received permission from the Nepal Securities Board (NSB) for an IPO worth Rs 80 million. Another 15 companies are in the process of IPO approval.

Rupesh KC, information officer of the Securities and Exchange Board of Nepal (SEB), said that 78.39 million 84 lots.

"Five companies that got permission in the last financial year are in the process of issuing IPOs. The board is studying the demand for IPO of the remaining 15 companies, 'said Information Officer KC. He also said that the companies that have reached the process will be allowed to issue IPO gradually.

These are the five companies that will get IPO soon

The IPOs of five companies that were allowed by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) to issue IPOs in the last fiscal year are coming up for sale soon. The IPO of five companies worth Rs 2.33 billion is coming up for sale within a month or two.

Of which three companies are hydropower, one is microfinance and one is an insurance company. Of these, the IPO of Malung Khol has been on sale since July 29, while the date of the others has not been fixed.

Fifty-five million shares of 15 companies in the pipeline

The Securities and Exchange Board has stated that 55 million 30 thousand 48 lots of IPOs of 15 more companies are also in the process of being issued this year. KC, the information officer of the board, said that the board is providing necessary facilitation to the companies that have applied for IPO but have not completed the process.

The IP is worth Rs 5.50 billion. Of those in the pipeline, 12 are IPOs of hydropower companies. There is also an insurance company, a service sector, and a microfinance company.

In addition, IPOs of five more life insurance companies will also go public this fiscal year. Of the 10 life insurance and three non-life insurance companies approved three years ago, seven have issued IPOs in the last fiscal year. Of the remaining six, Sanima is in the process of issuing a general IPO, while the other five companies are in the process of applying for an IPO.
