The government has increased the number of flights to international flights. According to the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal, the number of flights to countries other than India has increased.

According to the new decision, there will be a total of 53 flights a year. Earlier, only two dozen flights a year were scheduled in different countries.

According to the list made public by NEA, there will be only two flights a year to the Indian capital New Delhi. One of the flights will be operated by Nepal Airlines (Wednesday) and the other by Air India (Monday).

Nepal Airlines will fly to Dubai, UAE on Tuesdays and Thursdays, Himalayan Airlines will fly to Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays and Fly Dubai will operate one flight each on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

In Doha, Qatar, Nepal Airlines and Qatar Airways have been allowed to fly one flight a day, seven days a week. Himalayan Airlines will fly to Doha on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday.

Himalayan Airlines has been allowed to operate four flights a week on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. Nepal Airlines will operate two flights a year on Wednesdays and Saturdays in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Himalayan Airlines has been allowed to fly to Kuala Lumpur on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Turkish Airlines will fly to Istanbul, Turkey on Monday, Thursday, and Saturday.

Jazira Airways will operate a total of five flights to Kuwait on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Salaam Air has been allowed to operate a total of three flights to Muscat, Oman on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday.

Air Arabia has scheduled flights to Abu Dhabi on Sunday and Tuesday. A Singapore Air flight will arrive in Kathmandu every Sunday.

The Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation will decide if more flights are needed to the destinations where the government has now opened flights.

However, the NEA says that there may be an increase in the schedule due to the epidemic of the coronavirus. All airlines must meet the specified health standards and required documentation.
